Destelheide Venue Rules
These rules are set by the venue, but we need to respect them if we want to enjoy our stay there
Please read and respect the following venue rules during your stay at Destelheide. These rules ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.

🚨 Most Important Rules
No Outside Food or Drinks
Only products from or supplied by Destelheide may be sold or consumed. If the venue detects violations, a "fee" (fine) may be charged. This is for food safety rules that the venue applies.
Respect & Non-Discrimination
Destelheide is a space where all people respect each other. Any form of discrimination, racism, or propaganda of that nature is strictly prohibited. This is based on the European Convention on Human Rights, Fundamental Freedoms, and the Universal Declaration of the Rights of the Child.
General Smoking Ban
Smoking is prohibited in all buildings, including the bar and cafeteria.
However, dedicated covered, smoking areas are provided outside the buildings.
🛏️ Accommodation
Towels
We need to bring our own towels.
Room Availability
Bedrooms are available from 7:00 PM on the first day of your stay.
Check-out
On the day of departure (Sunday), you must vacate your bedrooms by 9:30 AM, but you may continue to use all rooms and locations throughout the day. Check-out will be arranged with the venue's caretaker.
Room Inventory
Each bedroom has an inventory list and practical information. Please report any missing, damaged, or non-functioning items to the organizers upon arrival. Unreported damage will be charged to the group.
Sheets, blankets, duvets, and bedroom furniture must always remain in the bedrooms.

These times are strict and cannot be changed for our group size.
Self-Service
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are self-service. Please clear your table after eating and place dirty dishes in the stacking carts.
🍺 Bar & Cafeteria

Free Coffee & Tea
At 12:45 PM and 3:30 PM, every guest can enjoy free coffee or tea (included in the full board price).
Evening Bar
In the evenings, groups operate the bar themselves. Our group will manage the finances, service, music, dishes, cleaning, and opening/closing of the bar.
Payment
You can pay with cash or tokens. Tokens can be pre-ordered and charged to the invoice.
Alcohol Policy
Sale of alcohol to persons under 16 is not permitted.
🚗 Parking
Upon Arrival
After unloading luggage and materials, all cars must immediately move to the parking lot. The fire department prohibits parking in the immediate vicinity of the buildings.
Parking Availability
- Parking is free
- Up to 60 spaces available (shared with other groups)
- If full, additional parking is available on the street
🔥 Safety
Emergency Exits
Emergency exits must always be kept clear. It is forbidden to place obstacles in front of (emergency) exits, escape routes, and in corridors.
Fire Alarm
Misuse of fire alarm systems will be penalized with an administrative fee.
Fire Guidelines
Each building has evacuation plans and fire guidelines posted. Everyone must know and be able to follow these guidelines.
No Open Fires
Making fires on the grounds or burning paper and waste is prohibited by order of the fire department and municipality.
🔊 Noise & Equipment
Sound Equipment
The use of sound systems outdoors is not permitted. Close windows and doors when there is loud noise in the rooms.

♻️ Waste Sorting
Destelheide actively participates in waste sorting. Please separate:
- Paper and cardboard
- Cans and metal
- Glass
- Food waste
- Small hazardous waste
- Residual waste
📞 Emergency Information
Phone numbers for doctors, pharmacists, emergency services, and weekend duty services are posted on the notice board at the secretariat and restaurant.
